Blowout Junkie

I was so hopeful about this experience since it was my first blowout and style. I was eager to try it out for a wedding I was attending. My experience started with calling a couple times to confirm and then change my appointment time. I specifically asked to confirm I was scheduled for a blowout and style. When I came, my stylist was strangely standoffish, unfriendly and didn’t greet me or ask anything about a style. Then I asked about the styling and she said I was only booked for a blowout - which I knew couldn’t be right. But I wanted to polite and asked, if she had time, I would appreciate a style. She didn’t say anything or tell me if she had time. I only found out when she began styling my hair with a big wand (my hair is so straight and wouldn’t stand a chance holding with a big iron). Finally she finished and less than 15 minutes later my hair was COMPLETELY FLAT. I spent my time getting ready for the wedding frantically trying to re-curl my hair- the stress I was trying to avoid through the appointment in the first place. I one hundred percent believe that I would’ve been less stressed and my hair would’ve looked better if I did it myself, at home.

This is a mediocre salon at best with subpar customer service. You would do well to spend your money elsewhere. I walked in with no greeting. Was told to sit in the shampoo chair and asked (1) question of how I wanted my hair. No follow up or assessing anything about my hair. She flew though the appointment, missed sections of my hair with the wand. When it was done she gave me zero instructions on checking out/paying for services. Within 15 minutes my hair fell flat. I just came home and had to re-do the whole thing.

I had an excellent experience. My hair was smooth and silky for 5 days. Everyone was friendly and professional.

The worst blowout I have ever received. I was charged $20 extra because they said my hair was long and did not tell me until after my hair was done.

This was one of the worst blowouts I've ever gotten. The associate had no idea what she was doing. She was so rough and kept digging her nails into my scalp while she was shampooing me. I left with such an irritated scalp from all the scratching and pulling, it was unreal. She rushed the service and didn't take the time to even blow dry my ends fully before she stated going in with the curling iron. My hair felt dry and dull when I left. I will never come back to this location. To the owner - hire better professionals, or train them more effectively before you start letting them perform services on their own.
